ATLS: Rural offering of Advanced Trauma Life Support course

ATLS is an internationally recognized continuing education course designed to teach a standardized and concise approach to the care of trauma patients within the "golden hour" or "period" where the greatest likelihood of death occurs.

  • Time details:
    • Day 1: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
    • Day 2: 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Location: Athabasca Healthcare Centre
  • Cost details:
    • Physician or nurse practitioner - $1650
    • Resident or medical student - $1500
    • Auditor (no certification) $350

Target Audience: Practicing Physicians, Residents, Medical Students (in final year) or Nurse Practitioners. ONLY 16 seats available.

Auditors may attend - recommended for advanced level practitioners (RNs/ACPs) but others are welcome. ONLY 8 seats available.
