Community Information Integration & Central Patient Attachment Registry (CII/CPAR) enables physicians and their teams to share patient information to Alberta Netcare directly from their electronic medical record (EMR). CII now allows providers to upload Pulmonary Function Diagnostic (PFD) reports into Netcare, if the EMR vendor has implemented this function.

Clinics that use Healthquest EMR can sign up for CII today to start submitting PFDs. Please complete the Confirmation of Participation form to start the onboarding process. When completing this form, choose “Other” as the participation type, and type “PFD” in the text box. If your providers also want to submit consult reports to Netcare, select yes for “consult reports” in addition to “other”.
All other EMR vendors have been advised that this function is available for them to develop. Reach out to your EMR vendor to express your interest in this function and encourage them to develop it.
