The PCCM Financial Calculators will help physicians estimate potential earnings as they consider transitioning into the model and understanding how their existing practice characteristics will impact compensation. Two calculators are available to estimate compensation by week or by day.
To use the calculator, physicians will need to obtain the following from their personal claims data:
-
gross community fee-for-service payments
-
BCP payments
-
payments for CMGP and CMXC30 modifiers
Coming in January 2025: The AMA Member Dashboard will provide each physician’s CPAR panel size and average complexity-adjusted panel payment (from Alberta Health) and the PCCM financial calculator will use this information to provide a more customized estimate. Additional support materials will also be available at this time.
