Are stipends being replaced or eliminated when transferred to a clinical ARP?
AH is not continuing to renew stipend payments under a clinical ARP. AH is considering the Provincial Base Payment Rate (PBPR) for remuneration of insured clinical services.
Will rural on-call stipends be affected?
Rural On-Call payments are typically paid by the Physician On-Call Program which is being reviewed separately by AHS with AMA representation. The AMA has not received any recent information regarding rural on-call stipend payments. We will continue to engage with AHS leadership and bring forward these concerns to the SAC.
