Fundamental Privacy Training
This curriculum is geared towards physicians who work in community-based medical practices. This curriculum includes six required courses and three optional courses.
What you will learn
By the end of this curriculum, learners will be able to:
- Recognize the importance of privacy and security
- Describe your role as a custodian and the role of other team members in managing privacy and security within a clinic
- Assess the current state of your privacy program within a clinic
- Implement a privacy program or improve your current privacy program

Staff members who have an interest in developing Privacy officer skills are encouraged to enrol at the discretion of their office manager. - Describe how custodians, privacy officers, and staff can work together to enhance the privacy and security within a clinic.
