Event Criteria
If your event requires travel outside of Alberta, ensure to send us its details at least two weeks in advance.
Preference is given to events that are continuing medical education accredited. Specifically, preference is given to CME credits from:
- The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
- The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) Maintenance of Proficiency (MainPro) program.
- Visit the College of Family Physicians of Canada to learn about the Mainpro+® (Maintenance of Proficiency) program.
- Visit the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada to learn about the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.

- Description: Please provide a succinct but detailed description of your event, and indicate which, if any, organization is sponsoring the event.
- E.g., Hosted by the Alberta College of Family Physicians, the Family Medicine Summit is recognized as Alberta’s premier conference for family physicians. The Summit is the ACFP’s signature event and has a history of more than 65 years. It offers continuing medical education and opportunities for family physicians to network with colleagues and share best practices in primary care.
