Yes, participation in the Physician Practice Improvement Program is mandatory for all College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta members.
AMA-ACTT offers webinars that support all three types of PIPP activities; the associated activity will be outlined in the individual webinar description.
Physicians will need to register for each PPIP webinar individually. Choose from the webinar options and click the Registration Link button.
Once the registration is complete, a link for the webinar will be emailed to you from Zoom ([email protected]). Please note, this link will not be active until the day and time of the scheduled webinar.

- Check the date and time of the webinar on the AMA-ACTT website and ensure you're joining at the right time.
- Try restarting your device and rejoining the Zoom meeting.
- Try manually entering the meeting details if joining via the link doesn't work.
- Update or install the Zoom app on your device.
- Check with your IT support, there may be a firewall blocking Zoom.
- Visit the Zoom troubleshooting page for additional suggestions.
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, email [email protected].
