President's Letter

Dear Members,

The Joint Physician Advocacy Committee seeks to understand member issues in practice and advises the AMA on our advocacy activities. JPAC has found that while there are many things that physicians need as professionals, we also have needs as individuals.

The result is a new initiative designed to help lift the spirits of physicians and learners through the simple expression of gratitude. The next time a colleague lends you a hand or makes your day better, consider the Gratitude Program. We’ve made it as effortless as possible to say Thank You.

You are always welcome to share your thoughts with me. You can email me via [email protected]. You can also comment on this letter on the AMA website.

Regards,
