Administrative Services
The Section Services office can help with a variety of tasks for our 42 sections, including:
- Sending emails/forwarding information to your section members on your behalf
- Scheduling meetings (sending meeting requests, conducting doodle polls to determine meeting date/time)
- Preparing meeting packages (including agendas, presentations, etc.)
- Updating executive listings on section webpages (on the AMA website)
- Posting latest bylaws and AGM minutes on section webpages (on the AMA website)
- Posting section related information on section webpages (including events, conferences, etc.) (on the AMA website)
- Providing membership lists
- Setting up conference calls or Zoom meetings
- Booking venues for meetings (including catering services if required)
- Gathering submissions for Section News
- Setting up section specific discussion boards
We ask that all sections keep Section Services informed of any upcoming annual general meetings, executive committee meetings and any other section related events.
