Being part of an organization that advocates for our interests has been the main benefit for me. My time working with the AMA, and especially attending RF has shown me the cohesiveness of the profession.
An active AMA member
Dr. Chang joined the AMA in 1998. He has been an RF delegate and has served on the AMA Informatics Committee, Section of Family Medicine Nominating Committee and AMA Nominating Committee.
Favorite AMA memory?
It was a privilege listening to Mr. Murray Sinclair talk about the importance of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada at the Spring 2016 Representative Forum.
Mr. Sinclair is a former Canadian Senator, former judge, First Nations lawyer and the former chair of the Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
On a personal note
I am happily married with two grown children. We like to hike, play tennis, exercise and even do the occasional hot yoga class.
